Cake Ordering: 101

How to Order a Cake

As this is our busiest time of the year, here are a few tips to help the order process move quickly for you and our staff!

  • Take a look at our gallery or other sites (Pinterest etc…) to get an idea of how you want your cake designed.
  • Check out our menu and pick out your cake flavors and fillings
  • Have a good idea of how many people you are serving
  • Also, take a moment to figure out what your budget is ($100, $200, $300+…)
  • Graduation Cake Tips:
    • We recommend decorating the cake in the colors of the school the student is graduating from
    • It is difficult to combine two or more school’s colors on one cake and make it look good!
    • Or just have fun with it and do some fun colors (turquoise and lime or hot pink and orange…)

‘Tis the Sweet Season

As we head into the Holiday season this year, the ladies at your favorite local bakery will be working like elves to prepare and decorate all of your sweets for your work parties, school celebrations, and family gatherings.  This year we have a wide selection of holiday items from cakes and cookies to pies and cupcakes!

As you can imagine, we tend to book up faster than usual during this time of the year.  We really recommend that you place your order two weeks in advance to ensure your order can be filled.  However, sometimes we can take orders the week of your event, so please do not hesitate to call and inquire about placing an order!
